SLIS NEWS: In Memory of Dr. John Olsgaard

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with heavy heart that I write to let you know that Dr. John Olsgaard passed on the morning of Friday, December 7, 2007. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 12 at 2 p.m. at Rutledge Chapel on the campus of the University of South Carolina. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.

A reception at Davis College will follow the memorial. We will be serving Dr. Olsgaard's favorite dishes so please try to join us. Liz Qunell is collecting tributes, reminiscences, anecdotes, and pictures for the website. Please email them directly to her at equnell@sc.edu.
